Features of Audio Software
Adobe Soundbooth
Some useful features of Adobe Soundbooth, when creating an audio product are:
Use multiple audio tracks
This allows you to be able to create something using numerous tracks and produce different layers in which are used to make an overall product, sound(s) or music.
Automatic Volume Correction
This feature allows you to automatically correct the volume of individual clips rather than having to manually change the volume of each piece of audio, this allows you to have an equal volume throughout the audio product that you create.
Cubase
Some useful features of Cubase, when creating an audio product are:
Track Visibility
Allows you to only see the tracks that you choose to see, in the window. This means that you can focus on the pieces of audio/tracks that you want to, and you can focus on creating the overall product with them. This could be useful when trying to listen to one piece of audio on its won - after it has been placed in the right place on the overall track timeline.
Re-Record Mode:
Allows you to continue recording even if there's a section that you don't want to use, it will save the previous version and you can just use the parts that you want. This saves time because you dont have to start from the beginning everytime you feel you could have made the piece of music or sentence better, or if you stutter while reading an audio book for example.
